Trader Joe’s Buffalo Dip, 4 Ways

I had been wanting to try Trader Joe’s chicken buffalo dip for awhile and on my most recent trip to Trader Joe’s I saw a vegan buffalo dip, which I thought would be little more versatile so I picked up a container to test it out. I’m a big fan of buffalo sauce and frequently make a greek yogurt buffalo dip with greek yogurt and hot sauce so I was very curious to find out how Trader Joe’s vegan buffalo dip would compare.

I absolutely love the dip, which is flavorful and has just the right amount of spice. I had a lot fun experimenting with different recipes and i’m excited to share with you today four of my buffalo dip creations.

For a majority of the recipes I paired the buffalo dip with the jalapeño sausage, which worked perfectly together! I also have a buffalo chicken salad recipe, which is an excellent summer dish especially right now during a heat wave when you are looking for no-cook recipes.

Overall, I really enjoyed the vegan buffalo dip and will definitely be adding this dip to my regular rotation. I’m looking forward to sharing some more buffalo dip creations in the near future, but in the meantime, enjoy the recipes featured below!

1. Buffalo Chicken Salad – Serving Size: 1 Serving

Ingredients:
1/4 cup arugula
1/4 cup coleslaw kit
1/3 cup cooked chicken, shredded
2 tablespoon cherry tomatoes, chopped
2 tablespoons black beans
2 tablespoons roasted corn, thawed + microwaved for 30 seconds to warm
2.5 tablespoons Trader Joe’s vegan buffalo dip

Directions:
Combine all the ingredients in bowl, mix throughly and enjoy at room temperature!

2. Buffalo Sausage Toast – Serving Size: 1 Serving

Ingredients:
1 piece of bread, cut in half
1 link of Trader Joe’s Jalapeño chicken sausage, diced
2 tablespoons cherry tomatoes, diced
2 tablespoons black beans
2 tablespoons roasted corn, defrosted
2 tablespoons coleslaw mix
2.5 tablespoons Trader Joe’s vegan buffalo dip
1/3 cup mozzarella cheese

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F
2. Cut bread in half and add remaining ingredients to each half of bread
3. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is golden brown. Enjoy warm!

3. Buffalo Sausage & Peppers Spaghetti – Serving Size: 2 Servings

Ingredients:
1 cup spaghetti
1/3 cup red and green bell peppers, cut into strips
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 clove garlic
1 link of Trader Joe’s Jalapeño chicken sausage, diced
1/3 cup Trader Joe’s vegan buffalo dip

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450°F
2. Combine bell peppers, olive oil and garlic on sheet pan and bake for 20 -25 minutes or until browned
3. Cook spaghetti according to directions on the package
4. Cook Jalapeño chicken sausage according to directions on the package
5. Combine roasted bell peppers, sausage and buffalo dip; mix throughly. Enjoy warm!

4. Buffalo Sausage Grain Bowl – Serving Size: 1 Serving

Ingredients:
1/4 cup Trader Joe’s Spicy Jollof rice mix
1 link of Trader Joe’s Jalapeño chicken sausage, diced
2 tablespoons cherry tomatoes, diced
2 tablespoons black beans
2 tablespoons roasted corn, thawed
2 tablespoons coleslaw kit

Directions:
1. Cook Spicy Jollof rice mix following the directions on the package
2. Meanwhile, cook sausage following directions on package
3. Put cherry tomatoes, black beans, roasted corn and coleslaw mix in a bowl. Add cooked sausage and rice; Enjoy warm!
