The Migrant Kitchen Chicken Sandwich

The Migrant Kitchen Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich + My Adaptation

For this week’s foodie adventure I’m featuring a chicken sandwich recipe that was inspired by the spicy crispy sandwich from The Migrant Kitchen, which is a Middle Eastern – Latin restaurant located on the Upper East Side, NYC.

My Adaptation

What You’ll Need:
1 Challah roll, cut in half
1 chicken tender
2 tablespoons flour
1 egg
2 tablespoons bread crumbs
1/4 cup zucchini
2 tablespoons ricotta cheese
1 teaspoon harissa paste

Directions
1.  Preheat oven at 350°F
2. Make breaded chicken cutlet by dipping chicken tender in  flour, egg and bread crumbs
3. Cut challah roll in half and spread ricotta on one half of the roll
4. Bake roll and breaded chicken for 8-10 minutes or until chicken is golden brown & cheese is melted
5. Meanwhile, grill zucchini for 6-8 minutes or until charred
6. Put breaded chicken and  zucchini on empty half of roll and spread harissa onto side with ricotta cheese & enjoy!
