One of the most fun parts of shopping at Trader Joe’s is the seasonal products. During my most recent trip I was very excited to test out some new pumpkin products to get myself into the Fall spirit. Some of the other seasonal favorites that I picked up included: butternut squash, harvest blend tea, pumpkin bread mix and the butternut squash mac & cheese. Below is a rundown of each of the products and how I plan to incorporate each product into my Fall menu plan.
1. Harvest Blend Tea
This is one of my favorite Trader Joe’s tea’s. The combination of cinnamon and apple puts me into the autumn mindset and I especially enjoy sipping on this tea in a reusable mug on a nice fall walk in the park enjoying the beautiful fall foliage.
2. Fall Harvest Salsa
I’ve not only been having this salsa as a snack with tortilla chips, but have also enjoyed using on tacos and grain bowls.
3. Pumpkin Chipotle Roasting Sauce
This was the product I was most excited to test out. I’m looking forward to using this as a marinade for poultry and seafood. I’m also planning to use this for ramen and to add additional flavor to soups.
4. Butternut Squash
I’m a big butternut squash fan. I enjoy oven roasted butternut squash, which is great to use for soup and i’m using for naan pizzas and grain bowls as well.
5. Pumpkin Bread & Muffin Mix
This is a classic Trader Joe’s seasonal product that i’m always excited to see in the Trader Joe’s stores. This year i’m looking forward to using the mix for waffles, mini donuts and i’m going to be testing some cookie cup recipes with the pumpkin mix as well.
6. Maple Sea Salt Kettle Corn
I’m a big kettle corn fan so I always look forward to testing out Trader Joe’s seasonal kettle corn flavors. I wasn’t a huge fan of the key lime kettle corn so I was a little skeptical about this product and thought it might be too sweet, but I really enjoyed the maple flavoring and will definitely be purchasing this again.
7. Honey Roasted Pumpkin Ravioli
This is another classic Trader Joe’s seasonal product that I always look forward to. I like to pair the ravioli with naan pizzas, soups and salads.
8. Pumpkin Cranberry Crisps
This was a product I saw introduced on social media last year and was looking forward to trying out for myself. I didn’t see it in my Trader Joe’s store last year so when I saw it available this year I immediately picked it up. I really enjoy the pumpkin and cranberry combination and these crips are great served with a soft cheese such as goat cheese or with a dip such a spinach and mozzarella dip.
9. Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese
This was a product I tried last year that I really enjoyed and was looking forward to getting again this year. Mac & cheese is the ultimate comfort food and I enjoy the rich butternut squash cheese sauce that instantly makes me feel warm and cozy. I always love having Trader Joe’s frozen pasta dishes on hand to serve as a side dish along with sandwiches, soups, naan pizzas and salads.
