Since Passover starts tomorrow for today’s weekly foodspiration I’m featuring some passover desserts, which includes: fruit flavored slices, Trader Joe’s Chocolate Chip Coca Meringues, Raspberries & matzah brittle, which is matzah covered in caramel, chocolate & garnished with toasted walnuts.
Matzah Brittle
YOU WILL NEED:
1 piece of matzah
1/4 cup Trader Joe’s Fleur de Sel Caramel Sauce
1/4 cup of Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
Chopped walnuts, optional
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350ºF
2. Put matzah on a baking sheet & spread caramel on top
3. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until caramel is bubbling
4. Add chocolate chips, which should melt on top of the caramel sauce and spread across the matzah & garnish with walnuts
5. Let cool & cut into bite-sized pieces
