One of my favorite parts of the thanksgiving meal is the pies so for today’s foodie adventure i’m sharing three NYC spots that all have amazing pies and I’d recommend if you are still figuring out where to order your pie from.
With locations on the lower east side & in Brooklyn Petee’s Pie Company makes their pies using seasonal local produce and natural fair-trade sweeteners. The menu includes options such as: Hudson Valley Apple Crumb, Pumpkin, Sweet Potato, Brown Butter Honey Pecan & Chocolate Cream Pies. Petee’s makes gluten free and vegan pies as well!
Four & Twenty Blackbirds located in GOWANUS & Prospect Heights, Brooklyn was founded in 2009 by sisters and pie makers Melissa Elsen and Emily Elsen. Named “Artisans of the Year” by Time Out New York in 2011, their pies have received critical praise. Menu options include: Matcha Custard, Salted Caramel Apple, Salty Honey & Bittersweet Chocolate Pecan pies.
Located in Midtown west near Times Square Little Pie Company specializes in scratch-made pies. The menu includes options such as: Sour Cream Apple Walnut, Pecan Pie, Mississippi Mud Pie, Pumpkin Pie & Three Berry Pie.
